BITSAT 2024 Session 2 Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates applying for all programs except B.Pharm should have completed their 12th examination from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent under the 10+2 system. They must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and should demonstrate proficiency in English.
• Candidates applying for B.Pharm should have completed their 12th examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, along with proficiency in English. However, candidates with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) are also eligible to apply for the Pharmacy program.
• To be eligible for admission, candidates must have achieved a minimum aggregate of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (if opting for Mathematics in BITSAT) or a minimum aggregate of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (if opting for Biology in BITSAT) in their 12th examination. They should also have scored at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology subjects.
• Only candidates appearing for the 12th examination in 2024 or those who passed the examination in 2023 are eligible to appear for BITSAT-2024. If a candidate has attempted the 12th examination more than once, only their latest performance is considered, provided it includes the full set of prescribed subjects/courses.
• Candidates who passed the 12th examination in 2022 or earlier are not eligible to appear for BITSAT-2024. Additionally, students currently enrolled in BITS campuses are ineligible to appear for BITSAT-2024.

BITSAT 2024 Syllabus

The BITSAT-2024 exam will be based on the NCERT syllabus for the 11th and 12th classes. The comprehensive syllabus is provided in the Annexure, and candidates can consult NCERT textbooks for the topics covered. Additionally, a sample test showcasing the features of BITSAT-2024 will be accessible on the BITS admission website for registered candidates. They can practice this sample test as many times as they wish to familiarize themselves with the exam format.
