About

An animator is a professional who creates animated images, characteRs and scenes using digital tools and techniques. They bring stories and ideas to life by creating movement and flow in characteRs objects, and backgrounds. Animators work in a variety of industries, including film and television production, video game development and advertising.

An animator should have a strong portfolio that demonstrates their skills and creativity as well as a solid understanding of animation techniques and software. Furthermore, they should also be detail-oriented, able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and be able to take directions and feedback well.

Eligibility

For Bachelor’s

  • The aspirants are required to pass their class 10+2 examinations with at least 50% to get admission in the bachelor’s degree. 
  • Candidates can apply for a B.Sc. in Animation from a recognised institute or university. 

For Masters

  • The students are required to pass the Bachelor’s degree program with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • For higher studies, the candidates can apply for M.Sc. in Animation. 

For Diploma

  • The seekers can apply for a diploma in animation or related certification courses.
