A housekeeping manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a housekeeping department in a hotel, resort or other hospitality establishment. The housekeeping manager's role is to ensure that guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable and well-maintained.

Moreover, the duties of a housekeeping manager can include supervising and training housekeeping staff, managing schedules and budgets, ordering cleaning supplies and equipment as well as ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. They may also be responsible for coordinating with other departments such as front desk and maintenance in order to ensure a seamless guest experience. 

Eligibility

  • Students can either go for a bachelor’s degree in hotel management, diploma or certification course.
  • Candidates need to have an expertise in Microsoft Office Application. 
  • At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in housekeeping is required.
  • Some colleges/universities may require students to pass entrance exams to give admission in UG or PG Program.
  • No age limit is required.
