About

A portfolio manager is a financial professional responsible for managing investment portfolios on behalf of individuals, corporations or institutions. Their primary role is to optimise the portfolio's returns by making investment decisions based on the client's risk tolerance, investment objectives as well as market conditions. Furthermore, the individual must monitor the performance of the portfolio on an ongoing basis and make adjustments as necessary to ensure that it remains aligned with the client's objectives and risk tolerance.

Eligibility

For Bachelor’s

  • The scholars are required to fulfil the admission eligibility by securing a minimum of  a 50% grade in 10+2 examination from a recognised board.
  • To become a portfolio manager, the seekers are required to enrol in a Bachelor’s degree in the field of Business Administration or economics. 

 For Masters

  • The aspirants must pursue MBA in portfolio management in order to get hired by top ranked MNC’s in India as well as abroad.
