About

A UI (User Interface) designer is a professional who designs the visual and interactive elements of digital products such as websites, mobile applications and software interfaces. Their role is to create user-friendly as well as aesthetically pleasing interfaces that enable users to interact with digital products effectively.

UI designers work closely with other professionals such as UX (User Experience) designeRs developers as well as product manageRs to create interfaces that meet the needs of the target audience and align with the overall product goals. Moreover, they typically start by researching and analysing user needs and behaviouRs then use that information to create wireframes, prototypes and mockups of the interface. The UI designer's responsibilities include selecting the colour scheme, typography, layout of the interface as well as designing icons, buttons and other interactive elements. They also need to ensure that the interface is responsive and accessible across various devices and platforms.

Eligibility

For Bachelor’s

  • Aspirants need to pass 10+2 in science stream from any recognised board. 
  • Students need to clear a national level entrance exam like JEE Main, JEE Advanced, BITSAT, VITEEE or any other required exam to get admission in a top-ranked university for the UG Program. 
  • Candidates can select a B.Tech, B.Sc or BE in computer science.
  • After the UG Program, seekers can search for a job as an entry level to gain some experience and if they wish to continue studies they can pursue their master’s degree after gaining some experience.   

For Master’s

  • Candidates can pursue MCA, M.Tech, ME or M.Sc in computer science.
