NEET PG

Unlock Your Medical Potential with NEET PG

Overview

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) is a nationwide computer-based entrance exam conducted annually by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). It is designed for admissions to MD/MS and PG Diploma courses in various medical institutions across India, including government, private, deemed/central, ESIC, and AFMS medical institutions. The exam serves as a gateway for MBBS graduates to pursue postgraduate medical education and advance their careers. NEET PG evaluates candidates' knowledge and skills through an extensive and rigorous testing process, ensuring only the most competent graduates proceed to specialized medical training. Candidates need to register on the official NBE website, meet the eligibility criteria, and be well-prepared for the objective-type questions that make up the exam. NEET PG not only tests academic knowledge but also the practical application of medical concepts, making it a critical step for aspiring medical professionals.

Exam Pattern

NBEMS has introduced a new sectional time limit for the NEET PG 2024 exam to ensure fairness during the examination process. Detailed guidelines will soon be available on the official website. Under this updated format, candidates will be unable to switch between sections but can answer questions freely within each section's allocated time. Once a section concludes, the next one will commence automatically. This approach mirrors the structure of exams such as INI CET, AIIMS, and the USMLE.

The NEET PG Entrance Examination, originally scheduled for June 23, 2024, has been postponed due to recent concerns regarding the integrity of various competitive exams nationwide. The revised exam date will be announced shortly, affording candidates extra time to adequately prepare. Familiarising yourself with the exam pattern is essential for effective readiness.
