Eligibility

Candidates applying for the RPSC RAS 2024 must meet specific eligibility criteria related to their nationality, age, and educational qualifications. Nationality:

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India or a domicile of Rajasthan.

Age Limit:

  • Candidates must be between 21 and 40 years of age as of 1 January 2025.
  • Age relaxation is provided for certain reserved categories:
    • Male candidates from SC/ST/BC/MBC and EWS of Rajasthan: 5 years
    • Female candidates from SC/ST/BC/MBC and EWS of Rajasthan: 10 years
    • Women candidates (General Category): 5 years
    • Widows and Divorcees: No upper age limit
    • Persons with Disability (PwD):
      • General: 10 years
      • OBC: 13 years
      • SC/ST: 15 years

Educational Qualification:

  • A bachelor's degree from:
    • A university established by an Act of the Central Legislature
    • An educational institution established by an Act of Parliament or recognized under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956
    • Final-year students are eligible for the prelims but must submit proof of graduation before appearing in the mains.

Exam Pattern

The RPSC RAS Exam is divided into two key stages: the Preliminary Examination and the Main Examination. Those who pass the Mains exam will be invited for a Personality Test & Viva-Voce.

Application Procedure

Candidates must apply online through the RPSC’s official portal between 19 September 2024 and 18 October 2024. Below are the steps to fill out the application form:

  1. Visit the SSO Rajasthan Portal (official RPSC Online Application Portal).
  2. Register using Jan Aadhaar or Email ID to create an SSO ID. If you already have an SSO ID, log in directly.
  3. Find the RPSC RAS Recruitment Exam application link and click on it.
  4. Provide personal details, including name, age, and date of birth.
  5. Fill in educational qualifications and relevant professional information.
  6. Upload all required documents as per the prescribed format.
  7. Pay the application fee according to your category:
    • General/BC/MBC (Creamy Layer): ₹600
