Exam Pattern

The WBCS examination consists of three stages: Preliminary, Mains, and Personality Test. Each stage has a specific pattern and marks allocation.

Personality Test

Candidates who qualify for the Mains exam will be called for the Personality Test, which carries 200 marks. The Personality Test evaluates candidates’ overall suitability for a career in public service, focusing on their personality traits, communication skills, and general awareness
