The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has officially announced the AIIMS 2024 Exam Date and the commencement of the admission process for the academic year 2024-2025, offering a range of courses for aspiring medical professionals. Eligibility Criteria for MBBS Admission at AIIMS New Delhi

Candidates applying for a total of 132 (125 for Indians, 7 for Foreigners) seats in MBBS at AIIMS New Delhi must be at least 17 years old. Candidates need to check the AIIMS MBBS syllabus to learn what is taught in MBBS degree. The general eligibility criteria for national and international applications are as specified below:

Eligibility Criteria for AIIMS Paramedical Admission 2024 

Citizenship: India

Age Requirement: Min. 17 years as of December 31, 2024.

Educational Qualification: Class 12 or equivalent with minimum aggregate marks.

For Bachelor of Optometry, Bachelor of Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology, candidates need English, Physics, Chemistry, and either Biology or Mathematics as main subjects.

Other paramedical courses require Biology as a compulsory subject in class 12.

Eligibility Criteria for INI-SS DM/M.Ch

Upper Age Limit: 35 years, 2024, Educational Qualification for DM: M.D./DNB in select specialization or equivalent recognized by the NMC

Educational Qualification for M. Ch.: MD/MS/DNB degree or its equivalent

Educational Qualification for MD Hospital Administration: MBBS (scoring 55% marks; 50% in case of reserved categories) with min. 3 years of experience in a government hospital or 5 years of general practice

Eligibility Criteria for INI-CET MD/MS/M.Ch/DM/MDS

Educational Qualification: 

For MD/MS/DM-6yrs/MCH-6yrs: MBBS degree recognized by NMC or MCI 

For MDS: BDS degree recognized by NMC or MCI

Min. Marks Percentage: 55% (50% in case of reserved categories)

Compulsory Practical Training/Rotating Internship: 12 Months

Eligibility Criteria for Ph. D Admissions

Educational Qualification: MD/MS/MDS/DM/M.Ch or M.Sc. degree in Nursing Speciality or MBBS/BDS with at least 55% marks.

Candidates from Non-medical background can also apply for Ph. D programs provided they possess 2 years of master degree.

AIIMS 2024 Exam Dates

Note:

1. The fee mentioned above is just the application charges whereby applicants need to pay applicable transactions or other charges. 
2. As per AIIMS, the OPH/PwBD candidates are exempted from any type of fee for applying to any of the courses.
