IBPS PO 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the IBPS PO 2024 exam typically include the following:

1. Nationality/Citizenship:

  • A candidate must be one of the following:
  • A citizen of India.
  • A subject of Nepal or Bhutan.
  • A Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India.
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

2. Age Limit:

  • Minimum Age: 20 years.
  • Maximum Age: 30 years.
  • Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 years.
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years.
  • Persons with Disabilities (PWD): 10 years.
  • Ex-Servicemen, including Commissioned Officers, ECOs, SSCOs who have rendered at least 5 years of military service: 5 years.
  • Other age relaxations may apply as per government rules.

3. Educational Qualification:

  • A candidate must hold a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university or have an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
  • The candidate must possess a valid Mark-sheet/Degree Certificate that he/she is a graduate on the day of registration and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in graduation while registering online.
