The Staff Selection Commission has released the SSC CGL Result 2023 on https://ssc.nic.in on September 19, 2023. Candidates can check their scorecard, category-wise cut-off marks and other result details now!

The SSC CGL result 2023 for Tier I examination is now available on the official website https://ssc.nic.in/ from September 19, 2023. The result declaration enables candidates to check their performance and plan for the tier II examination and further steps towards their career objectives.

SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2023

The Staff Selection Commission had conducted the computer-based SSC CGL Tier I 2023 examination from 14 July 2023 to 27 July 2023 in various exam centres all over India for a total of 8440 state-wise/zone-wise vacancies available in various departments including the following. The candidates can access the direct link to download PDF of SSC CGL Tier I result 2023. The PDF includes 4 lists of category-wise shortlisted candidates.

SSC CGL Result Analysis for the year 2023 and 2022

Among a total of 81752 applicants considered qualified in Tier I examination, there are total 4377 candidates for the post of Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer, 3123 for the post of Junior Statistical Officer, 3140 for the post of Statistical Investigator Gr.II, and 71112 for all the other posts are declared eligible to appear in the tier II examination of SSC CGL 2023. 

Cut-off Marks & Total Number of Candidates Qualified:

SSC has made available different lists for category-wise shortlisted candidates for all the vacancies in the latest SSC CGL 2023 notification. The commission has considered the following category-wise minimum qualifying marks percentage to declare Tier 1 result:

Candidates can refer to the following lists relevant to the posts they applied for:

List-1: Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer

This list includes the cutt-off and total number of candidates shortlisted for appearing in Tier-II: Paper-I and Paper-III {General Studies (Finance & Economics)} 

*Apart from the candidates in the "UR" category i.e. "Unreserved" or general category, there are some additional candidates from different categories who have also qualified for the next stage of the upcoming SSC exams 2023 i.e. SSC CGL Tier II. These candidates have been listed separately under their respective categories to ensure fair representation and opportunities for candidates from different backgrounds. Here's a breakdown:

SC: 30 candidates  

ST: 2 candidates

OBC: 713 candidates 

EWS: 369 candidates 

OH: 2 candidates 

List 2: Junior Statistical Officer

The shortlisted candidates in list 2 as shown below are eligible to appear for  Tier II: Paper I and Paper II (Statistics)

*The additional candidates as given below, who qualified at the general "UR" cut-off, have been categorized separately under their respective groups:

SC: 12 candidates 

ST: 3 candidates 

OBC: 409 candidates 

EWS: 239 candidates 

List 3:  Statistical Investigator Grade II

The candidates in list 3 are considered eligible to appear in Tier II examination Paper I and Paper II (Statistics)

*In addition to the candidates listed in the "UR" category above, an extra 37 candidates have also secured a spot in the next stage, even though they initially met the general "UR" cut-off. These are from:

OBC: 7 candidates 

EWS: 32 candidates 

List 4: All Other Posts

The list 4 includes candidates who can appear for the upcoming SSC examination of CGL Tier II: Paper I and Paper II.

*There are additional candidates other than listed in the "UR" (Unreserved) category who have also qualified for the next stage. They have been appropriately categorized under their respective groups to:

SC: 1566 candidates

ST: 321 candidates 

OBC: 14,812 candidates 

EWS: 6,584 candidates 

ESM: 18 candidates

OH: 63 candidates 

HH: 10 candidates

VH: 88 candidates 

Others-PwD: 4 

Note: The commission has withheld the result of 113 applicants in compliance with various court orders.

SSC CGL Tier I Marks Normalization

The commission in the SSC CGL 2023 notification wide No. HQ-C11018/71/2023-C1/1 (E-5437), states that as the examination was conducted in multiple shifts, the results have been declared as per the normalized marks obtained by the applicants. The formula used for normalization is:

Steps to Download SSC CGL Tier I Scorecard

To download the SSC CGL 2023 marks and scorecard, follow these steps:

• In the login section, enter your registration number, password, and the captcha code displayed on the screen.
• Now, click on “Login”.
• Once logged in, you will be directed to your exam dashboard, where you can access various details related to your SSC CGL 2023 examination.
• On the exam dashboard, look for the "SSC CGL 2023 Marks and Scorecard" link.
• Click on the "SSC CGL 2023 Marks and Scorecard" link.

SSC CGL Tier II 2023 Exam Dates

The qualified candidates can now gear up for the SSC CGL Tier II examination, scheduled to be held from 25th to 27th October 2023. 

SSC CGL Admit Card for Tier II

As the Tier II examination is tentatively scheduled in the last week of October of the year 2023, the SSC CGL 2023 Admit Cards will be available around 10 days before the exam.
